With only a few days until she must return, will they recognize risks are worth taking for true love?

Excerpt:

She pulled up short when a man appeared from out of nowhere, startling her. Jumping back, Greer stared, hoping she didn’t drool. Tall, dark and handsome didn’t even begin to cover it. Craning her head back to look up into his face, she realized he must have stood at least six and a half feet tall with golden skin and a body to die for. He looked so hot in fact, she could hear the sizzle from where she stood. His dark hair fell to just above his broad shoulders, framing an exquisite face of chiseled features. Deep green eyes watched her with interest from under killer lashes. As her eyes traveled lower, she actually felt her breath catch and stop. He stood before her, shirtless. His smooth muscular chest and six-pack—no wait, make that eight-pack—rippled down to reveal a smattering of dark hair starting just below his navel and trailing south to disappear into snug dark rust-colored pants hanging low on his lean hips. He posed in the doorway, all lithe, sinewy muscle with colorful tattoo symbols running down the left side of his torso.

Oh, sweet Jesus. She’d died and gone to heaven—or perhaps hell, since he looked to be so sinfully tempting. Suddenly realizing she stared at him too intently, she glanced away. A blush crept from her neck on up to heat her cheeks.

“Greetings. My name is Caelan Virilion.” He didn’t move from the doorway, perhaps waiting for her to acknowledge him, but his mega-watt smile, revealing perfect white teeth, captivated her as did his unique name and lyrical voice. Ah, so the sandalwood scent came from him. He even smelled yummy.

Greer snapped back to herself as soon as she realized he was waiting for her to speak. Believing the best defense to be a direct approach, she stepped forward with her hand outstretched to shake and broke her silence. “I’m Greer Ivers. I don’t believe I know you or where I am at the moment. Perhaps you could enlighten me.”

SH Welcomes, Emma Meade

Under the Desert Moon

by Emma Meade
Release date: September 2012
Publisher's Buy link: Soul Fire Press
Also available at Amazon

Blurb:
17 year old Erin Harris spends her time daydreaming, hoping to escape her small town life in Copperfield, Arizona. When a movie crew arrives unexpectedly to shoot a vampire film over the summer, Erin's small  town world changes forever.
Erin is positive she has seen the star, James Linkin before in a thirty year old TV show. He hasn't aged a day. How is this possible? Erin is determined to find out, but how will James handle the scrutiny of an all too intelligent teenage girl?

Excerpt:

James heard every word of the conversation as he strode away. Excellent hearing; it was a perk.
He had asked Erin at the launch party if she felt unnerved by him. That was funny, since he was the one who was feeling extremely unnerved now.
Why?  Because he was feeling. That hadn’t happened in awhile, years in fact. Erin.
“Erin.” He enjoyed the sound of her name on his tongue. It tasted sweet, like her. And dangerous. James never got too close to anyone. He wasn’t a good guy, and girls only ever got hurt around him. This girl seemed different.  She saw through him, but did she know the truth yet?
She had been spot-on about his eyes. There was indeed something ‘wrong’ with him. James knew he should leave town immediately, get out of Dodge and clean up this mess. If he turned back now, it could all be over with her in a matter of seconds. He even stopped walking in the middle of the road.
Her scent was still on him. Sweet apples on his lips and clothes. Fists clenched, James forced himself to keep moving, towards the darkness of his trailer, and away from temptation.

Author Bio:

Emma Meade lives in rainy Ireland. She loves vampires, slayers, witches, ghosts, aliens & shadow men (or at least the youngest of the Shadow Men), and regular people who live extraordinary lives (think Slayerettes and you’re on the right track).

Books, DVDS & TV show boxsets take up lots of space in her home, and she collects all the Point Horror books she can get her hands on.

Writing supernatural stories and watching marathon re-runs of Buffy are some of her favourite ways of escaping reality.

Something Different...

By RP World Group

Blood Bond Chapter 1, the Nocterm Aeternam series on the Nocterm Guard is an adult graphic novel presented by RP World Group. This is definitely something different in publishing. It combines the storytelling experience with the publishing experience and creates something a bit outside the book or post if you will.

The story Blood Bond is presented in a storytelling format. Each character ‘speaks’ from their prospective, not unlike a play. But instead of the actors/actresses speaking their parts it’s written. Yet still presented in a reader friendly format that anyone can follow. Give it shot. You won’t be sorry.

We own the eternal night.

The wind howled outside the walls of the Fortress echoing throughout the Bay Area like a wild creature heralding change. After the brutal assassination of his parents a new King of the Vampire race has been crowned and King Kelt Ignis' first concern is the disappearances of not just the humans he’s sworn to protect, but vampires now too. Luther, the demi-demon God, hates them all and must be behind it. Over the centuries he’s taken humans and turned them into his minions, little better than zombies to destroy the vampires. So the vampires continue to guard the night, fighting Luther’s minions and King Kelt searches for answers. And while the Ancients, the oldest among the vampires bicker over who’s really behind the kidnappings, and the priorities of the race, Luther continues to experiment and his army continues to grow.

The only way to get to the bottom of things is for the Vamps to reach out to the Weres the other most powerful creatures ruling the night. For Weres have gone missing now too. There has been an uneasy truce between the Vamps and Weres for a thousand years, both sides evenly matched have kept things that way. But the king of the Weres hates the blood drinkers and even if Luther were behind the kidnappings would still find a way to blame the Vamps. Luther is half-vampire. Yet Kelt has no choice but to convince the Weres they must put old hatreds aside and become allies.  He must send his own to venture into the Were Sanctum. There is unrest among the Weres, not all want war between the Nocterms and he hopes this will help his cause. Kelt now has proof Luther is experimenting and those experiments have been successful. He is creating a race of demon-possessed vampires, VEMS that are stronger and harder to kill than minions and maybe has found the right formula to turn Weres and others too. He must be stopped, all of the races are at risk.

Interview with Hunter S. Jones

Hello and let me welcome,
Hunter S. Jones.

Tell us a little about yourself.
There's really not much to know. I live in Atlanta, GA. Anything you will ever learn about me or want to know will never be as interesting as the art form I create.

Wow. Another southern gal like myself. *grins* Can you tell us how you got started writing? Have you always wanted to be a writer?
Yes, I have always written something. I wrote as a child-writing stories for the kids in the area. We would act out plays and skits that I would write, star in and direct. Then, I worked on the school papers in high school and college. I have written articles covering rock & roll, fashion, travel, wine, artists, books, movies. You name a topic, any topic, and more than likely I have written an article about the subject.

How fascinating and what a great role model. Tell us a little about your new release and when is it available?
My new release is my first book, my debut novella. It is called Fables of the Reconstruction. Pomba Gira Mysticism. Creole Voodoo. The zombie apocalypse. Sex, drugs, magick. Paranormal. Meet Pierre von Minzle and Mary Moore. They are the Adam and Lilith of today's zombie apocalypse. Fables of the Reconstruction is a playful yet graphic sexual adventure consisting of what might have been, combined with what possibly might be happening now. It contains the seeds of the zombie apocalypse set in Victorian London's notorious Whitechapel District. This ain't your daddy's shotgun zombie story. Mature content warning. Basically this is the story of a Belgian pimp in Victorian London who has a magic powder. He claims he is undead.

Zombies, huh? I have to say you have my curiosity up. I'll be checking this book out for sure! So...What one word would you say best describes you?
Everchanging.

Hahahahaha. I like that! On a more personal note for your fans out there *winks*, what songs are most played on your IPod?
Ohhh. Great question Scarlet. I usually just hit 'shuffle' and see what plays. My tastes are very eclectic. You'll find old Delta Blues, Classic Rock, Indie Alternative Rock, Roots Rock, Hip Hop. As long as music has a good beat, I am a fan.

Nothing like the Rolling Stones to get you in the writing mood *starts humming 'Start me up'*

Oh sorry...*giggles and tries to compose myself...clears throat* Okay...What advice do you have for struggling writers?
We're all struggling writers, aren't we? All I know is to write from your heart. Feel and listen to your dreams. Writers are the only artistic group that gives our work away for free. I wish we, as a group, would place more value on our art form.

Writers are artists, so many readers are always curious about how an 'artist' spends his/her free time. What are your hobbies?
I'm athletic and competitive, so I believe in working out. I read everything. I love fashion - hair, makeup, clothes. Unlike many writers, I am extremely extroverted. I enjoy going out and meeting new people. I love going to new places and having mindless conversations with people I don't know.

It is probably a good thing we don't live very close. I have a feeling we'd be shopping more than writing. *bursts into laughter* Now here's a question I like to ask fellow authors. What would your perfect writing day look like? Mine involves sitting on my sofa, laptop in lap, with a bottle of red wine.
Your day sounds perfect Scarlet. I guess the perfect writing day for me, in a dream world, would involve making love to the man of my dreams and when he falls asleep from exhaustion, I am so inspired that I get the laptop from under the bed and write a short story before he wakes up. Red wine is involved in my perfect day too.

LOL. That sounds pretty darn good to me too, Hunter. When did you put your first words to paper?
At 8 months of age I wrote MAMA on a piece of paper. My mother still has it stored away with the date and my age written on it.

Awww...how adorable. I bet your mother is very proud.
What drew you to write erotic fiction?
Erotic fiction is all fiction. Unless you have a passion for a subject you will not write about it. Previously, any written erotic expression has been disguised or suppressed - except for a few brave and brilliant souls such as Henry Miller, Anne Rice and Erica Jong. Now the taboos have been lifted and we are free to express our dreams and imagination and artistry.

*Leans in and whispers* I heard you have a crush on one of your Facebook friends...would you like to elaborate on this? *snickers*
It's true Scarlet, I do have a major crush on one of my Facebook friends. At this time, I can't say any more than that except I can tell you they have a very creative spirit, too.

Well, your secret is safe with me *winks*
Are you currently working on any future projects?
Thank you for asking Scarlet. I am working on Book 2 of Fables. It is called Reconstruction of the Fables. There are some other projects in the works; however I can't let you in on them yet. We will be in touch and I will let you know about them in the next month or so.

That all sounds great and you will have to keep us updated. Thank you so much for stopping by and talking with me today. I have enjoyed your visit and before you go, I want to wish you all the best with your book and all future releases down the road.
